Plan Post

Plan UK is a charity set up to support children in 48 of the poorest countries around the world. The brief was to build an e-card application to promote Plan UK by sending virtual cards to friends and family. Customisation of the card would be possible via an easy to use interface.

The project started with a very basic prototype that I built from the wireframes & rough designs (first two screenshots). I worked closely with the UX and Design departments while this prototype was being built. Together with a Flash developer the basic version was completed; the full designs were completed and I started integrating my prototype into the Symfony framework which would allow users to save & send their e-cards.

Unfortunately the project wasn’t completed, but the experience I gained while working with Flash and Symfony via my prototype was invaluable.
